How to love

Love is an important emotion. It makes our hearts flutter, our brains crazy, but most of all it shows that humans are capable of compassion and friendship, just by using one word. Some people throw the word around like its nothing whereas other people use it like a passcode for a nuclear bomb that can never be released. It's hard to tell a person you love them but it’s so easy to tell a person you hate them.

The reason I'm talking about 'love' so much is because i love to love. I recently became an aunty to an amazing, beautiful baby girl. She is amazing. She is so tiny and perfect and if you were to see her on even your roughest day, you would become instantly happy forgetting about your hardships in life. I fell in love with her the second i saw her just like i did with my other 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Love can be created within first glance.

Love can also take long periods to take place and form. My best friend I've known since I was five but yet we only became best friends two years ago and we became it instantly. We hated each other all through junior years. We believed we had nothing in common even though we were in the same classes throughout all of our junior school years giving us plenty of time to find out. But in my last year of junior school he moved away. It’s a long drive to visit him but distance isn't a barrier for love. After minutes of talking to him on instant messenger we began to realize we had common interests. Now a day doesn't go by when we don't speak, whether it be about football, music, celebrities or food. It’s hard to think that the little weirdo who obsessed over the suckiest team in NRL, from kindergarten is my best friend.

Distance is just something that tests loves limits. My sister lives in the USA. She moved there ages ago with her two daughters and ex husband. She now lives there with her two daughters, new husband and stepson. I've seen them once sine they moved there. They moved when I was 6 and I'm 16 now. Ten years of not seeing my sister. Facebook, photos and phone calls is the only way of talking but I'm sure if for some reason Facebook shut down along with the mail services and the phone companies our love would never die. She taught me how to put makeup on, do my hair nice and all the other things sisters are meant to do.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes and it can be directed towards anything and everything. Its something that humans need to realize that they are important and that the people around them are to. Sure our world isn't completely full of love but maybe my blog can be? i love to express my feelings about things, especially the things i love unconditionally like my friends, my family, my pets and my hobbies. My dreams and ideas are all influenced by love and with the help of writing it helps me to achieve them because writing is what i love to do unconditionally.
